I’m upside down in my home value and I can’t refinace. I can’t afford the new adjusted rates for my mortgage and I fear losing my property as a result.
Have been trying for 6 months to get Chase to approve a loan mod. My sons wife lost her job and can’t find anything that will also pay enough for childcare. Mortg. upside down 40k. Started off with 2 mtg. One of those bad loans with an arm. they have repeatedly gotten stalled, lost or missing files,call back in 30 days, approved, denied, stalled and now denied again for loan mod by chase. Present reason “They are 6 months in default. Said if they were 4 months they would approve. However they denied them at 4 months. They can’t short sale since we would have to pay difference. If they won’t work with them, they will force them into forclosure. What do people do in this case. Can’t sell, can’t get help.
