It’s as simple as that. My thoughts are that if people post their stories and I help them in a public forum, then it will only help the next person and the next. So, all you have to do is sign up for free, post your story, and then I will help you in any way I can.

You will have my personal email, fax, phone and cell phone. There are no catches. It costs nothing.  If you want to donate, then donate. If you don’t, then that’s fine too.

I am building this community for the American people. A place that they can go to and help one another save their homes. This is serious business and we need to stick together.

I know it will take time to get this rolling and the word out across the nation and internet.

So, let’s unite and help me by joining my forum for free and let’s start sharing and helping one another. Please go to www.SavingtehDream.org/forum to register and let’s start building our own SAFE community and doing our part to help other people avoid foreclosure.

THIS SITUATION SHOULD NOT BE WORKED OUT THROUGH NORMAL NEGOTIATIONS!

This woman needs to report to her state’s attorney general and banking department who licenses mortgage companies. She can also contact Consumer Reinvestment Coalition – http://www.fairlending.com – which is a non profit set up to help victims of predatory lending.

I have to disagree, real estate lawyers know HUD statements because they are required as part of RESPA. The problem is during refinance many people forego the lawyer, the mortgage company encouraging them not to use one.

Thanks for the tips and the website Stephanie.

I’m not sure if you are aware of the fact that many lawyers are now jumping on the predatory lending band wagon and they have no idea about the various laws, RESPA and TIL facts. They are not motivated by helping but by greed.

I just started a forum and I would love for you to become a member and help people. It’s at http://www.loansafe.org and I need help with content, so anything you wan to post to help people, go for it.

Best Regards,

Moe

I have missed 2 mortgage payments and now my loan has ajusted and will go to 10,000.
per month. Gmac is willing to lower my interest rate but I need it lower enough to afford to stay in the housse. 6/2 % is not good enough. I started working with a modificator at Oceanview investments and they want 10,000. to do the deal with most up front and they will not give me a “work order until that money is given to them?”
Can you help. I need 31/2 percent rate and do not want to go into foreclosure.

You are retarded. Yesterday was your day. Congratulations on not losing your helmet.

What I meant to say was…. you are delusional for requiring an interest rate at 3 1/2%. You were lucky to be given a rate at 6%.

What I hear going on is just WRONG companies charging fees upto $10,000 for writing a couple or sometimes one letter to your mortgage company to adjust your loan rates, Come on these people are already stressed out enough on losing there jobs, behind in there mortgages, and these mortgages they were probably talked into taking out more than they could afford, talked into an adjustable loan, the appraised value beefed up so they could get more money “which they could NOT afford” just so the mortgage company can make the points and fees. We need to help these people get there loans re-writen at a fair interest rate withoiut ripping them off with more FEES. Charge these people for the actual time to write these letters not The Boiler Room way and just trying to make more people suffer. We are in this together…..

I am not behind on my mortgage payment but my payment went up $600 not because of the interest adjustment but because of the escrow. My taxes went up drastically. I have about 25K in credit card because of the inflation cost, rise in electric bill etc. I don’t want to go bankrupt and so trying to work with the lenders for a loan modification and they are not responding well. I am calling them every other day and tired of getting the same answer – they didn’t make a decision yet. There are so many loan modification companies and I am not sure how far I can trust them. Any help is appreciated.

I need to know if i can get a loan modification? My payment jumped $135.00 a month …the mortgage co. said that my escrow accout was to low.
It really is the way that they (mortgage co.) were paying it out.
I went bankrupt in 2005 it was final jan 2,2006. I did not reafirm with the mortgage co. but I have been making the payments month to month. So am I eligible to get a loan modification of not????

as with so many my escrow payment went up $400 not because of the interest adjustment but because of the escrow. My taxes went up drastically. because of the inflation cost, rise in electric bill etc. so trying to work with the lenders for a loan modification and they are not responding well. I am calling them every other day and tired of getting the same answer – the call center said no loan modification because we do not make enough a month. There are so many loan modification companies and I am not sure how far I can trust them. Any help is appreciated.

I am looking for anyone who can help, we are having troubles with making our mortgage payments, but we can’t afford to spend money on a service when we can’t afford our house payment. All these new president sites say that I shouldn’t pay for these services but I don’t seem to qualify for the government help. Any suggestions????

I, like Brian, am also in an 80/20 loan that I need fixed at a low rate. The 80% portion is also an interest-only ARM that will adjust next year. I have already been denied by my 80%-holding mortgage company (America’s Servicing Group). I also have a 2nd property(rental with no tenants and needing expensive repairs that I cannot afford) that I am going to have to short sell or let foreclose. Will I have to wait until I no longer own that 2nd property to qualify for a loan modification/restructure on my primary mortgage? I know I have a lot going on, but would welcome ANY help you could give me.
