My Week in Fighting Foreclosures

  • I have been assisting “a reporter who would like to remain anonymous“ in an article he is writing on the foreclosure crisis. He has been speaking with Nathan Fransen and myself. Great guy and seems to really care about homeowners and their plight. He has been completely flabbergasted by the predatory lending abuses we have shown him and in his own investigations. He is a fantastic writer and reporter.
  • Spoke with Warren Pollock. An all around great guy and Wall Street / macroeconomics expert that shares some of the same views I have. If you have not read any of his past articles that were written between 2001-2004 in regards to mortgage backed securities and the implications on our economy. THEN YOU NEED TO READ THEM NOW!
  • Several Hispanic television stations and newspapers are planning to do an article on a recent case motion that Nathan Fransen, ESQ, won in regards to a Hispanic client that did not speak english and was victimized by his mortgage broker who was also Hispanic. California Civil Code § 1632. For example, this statute requires that borrowers who negotiate loan terms with a mortgage broker in Spanish, must receive their loan documents in Spanish. This applies to all foreign languages.
  • I want to increase my local community efforts since I reside in the Inland Empire (ground zero in Southern California) I set up meetings with a few Riverside County supervisors and will meet with the Mayor of Corona in early November. I am excited about getting really involved locally because they need it here.
  • Been busy promoting our foreclosure prevention and predatory lending seminar that we are hosting on November 1st.
  • Officially formed a non-profit and waiting tax exempt status. The name is, ”Homeowners Defense Advocates”. I am the Co-founder/Treasurer along with attorneys, Nathan Fransen and Paul Molinaro. We plan to provide top notch foreclosure prevention and legal services. We believe that our system will be one of the best in the country and will offer COMPLETE homeowner loss mitigation services via our 10 point homeowner protection plan. Stay tuned for more on that!
  • Returned over a hundred emails and many phone calls to struggling homeowners that are trying to stop foreclosure.

Another great week and the momentum of my efforts seem to be really paying off. I look forward to making more strides next week and helping more homeowners save their homes
