I have been a target of countrywide, inabilities and practices of bad business practices,

We had a 30 year note with Chase and never late,

Now with Countrywide and was promised a refinance on a 15 years note to 30 year note with there new Modification loan program this started in Feb 2009, and we call every month several time to ask about it and was told everything was Ok and will hear something shortly.

The system is way too overwhelmed and mitigation department understaffed and if you are able to get the client through the first line of humiliating defense they usually take weeks before any material changes are even statrted. The moral hazard argument puzzels me because regardless of how we got to this point it is now time to develop solutions for those who are frightened and intimidated. Those who have children understand that while you may not condone the actions and decsions made to get themselves over their head, you do not let your family get eaten alive to prove a point.
