IF I WAS TO BE IRRESPONSIBLE, I WOULD HAND THEM THE KEY AND FORECLOSE, BUT WE THE WORKING STRUGGLING CLASS ARE MORE THAN THAT, WE WANT TO REMAIN PAYING OUR MORTGAGE. IT'S EASY AND IRRESPONSIBLE TO JUST SAY HERE TAKE THE HOUSE, WHO CARES, THE HOUSING MARKET IS SO LOW THAT THERE SELLING HOMES IN DETROIT FOR $100 DOLLARS, YES GO FIGURE!!!! YEARS AGO WHEN BANKS ALSO REFUSED TO WORK WITH CUSTOMERS, THEY HAD NO CHOICE BUT TO GIVE HOMES IN NEW YORK FOR A DOLLAR, SO YOU SEE...THE ONES THAT HAVE ALOT TO LOSE HERE ARE THE HOMEOWNERS WANTING TO KEEP THEIR HOMES, LOOK AT THE LOGIC, I BOUGHT MY HOME FOR $200,000 BACK IN 2004, THERE ARE CLOSE TO 20 FORECLOSED HOMES IN MY NEIGHBORHOOD SELLING FOR LESS THAN $60,000, SO AT THE END OF THE DAY, WE STILL COME OUT LOSING. IS THE GREED AND MINDSET OF THESE BANKS, IF THEY WERE TO LOWER MY MONTHLY PAYMENT TO 1,200, TIMES THAT BY 12, THEN BY 30 YEARS WE ARE LOOKING AT $432,000, HOW ON EARTH IS THE BANK LOSING, COMMON KNOWLEDGE, NOT ROCKET SCIENCE. ON ANOTHER NOTE: COUNTIES SHOULD GET INVOLVED BECAUSE THE $6,000 I PAY YEARLY ON PROPERTY TAXES WILL GO BYE, BYE, LESS FOR SCHOOLS, PUBLIC SERVICE, THIS CREATES DEFICIT!! IS COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT THE NEXT OWNER WHEN THE HOUSE IS SOLD AT AUCTION FOR LESS THAN $60,000 MOST LIKELY WILL BE PAYING $1,000 IN PROPERTY TAXES OR LESS, SO I TELL YOU, WHO LOSES?
