		<description>Because the mortgage is a note not a contract doesn&#039;t it take 2 signatures to make it valid.  Just like a check the mortgee and mortgor should both have to sign it.  Is this correct and if you ask them for a copy of the original note and it only has one signature (the borrowers) is it an inforceable note?  Thank you for your time.</description>
