A lot of people, myself included, have been turned down for a modification by our lender. I know that I am not able to afford my mortgage payments since my hours at work have been cut in half, but the mortgate company said that I make enough to pay my mortgage and denied me. I tried contacting HUD for the free help, and left my number over and over again, but nobody ever called me back. It is so frustrating. I do not know which way to turn now..
