intellichoice mortgage servicesThis email about Intellichoice Mortgage and Real Estate Services  just came to me from either a worried homeowner or loan modification scam whistle-blower. I thought I would post the information on my blog to alert other homeowners and to also obtain feedback on the firm.

If you have any information about this company or have been scammed, please leave your comments below.

Email scam alert:

Intellichoice Mortgage Services LLC ordered to desist and refrain by the CA Dept of Real Estate http://dre.ca.gov/pdf_docs/loanmod_drs/H3995SD.pdf

They are still trying to operate under Intellichoice Realty Services Inc. I wonder how long it will take the DRE to link the two. They need to be added to the watch list.

Dieter Gable, Ryan Evans, and Steve Walker are crooks!

I was scammed by Intellichoice Mortgage Services, AKA Mantis Financial Group, AKA Intellichoice Reality Services, AKA Steve Walker & Ryan Evans & Dieter Gable. I Paid $3000 upfront for a supposed rescue program ( There website at the time was loanrescuesolutions.com) and 5 days after i paid the fee I got a loan mod offer from my bank Saxon so I took the offer 5.25% 30 yr fixed with all the late fee forgiven. I called Intellichoice and asked for a refund, I spoke to Steve Walker and he said I was not entitled to a refund because I got a loan mod.

I said “I” got the loan mod not Intellichoice (I had not even faxed in to them my documents and hardship letter, they had none of my info except my contract and my $3000). Steve Walker told me I should be happy.

They kept my $3000 and did not do anything. And now I come to find out that they were operating illegally the whole time and they are still trying to rip people off.

I have a mortgage with Wells Fargo that may be going into foreclosure. Since September 2008 I’ve been calling and calling trying to get someone to help us. Finally in June 2009 I felt I had no choice except to go through a loan modification company. I found a company with a great reputation and submitted our information. After doing all of this, the company handed my case over to Green Credit Solutions. They required an upfront fee because they represented themselves as being a lawfirm with legal representatives to assist me in getting a loan modification. After they received my money I never heard from again. I tried constantly to contact them but they totally avoided me. They avoided me until I emailed my so called negotiator and told him I was pulling my case from them and I demanded a refund. To my amazement, he responded back the next day. He said they had been busy moving and he appologized for taking so long to contact me. He then gave me his new contact information. I was shocked when I saw they had changed their name to Guardian Credit Services. Today I read an article that Green Credit Solutions closed their offices and receiving so many compaints and also being listed on Attorney General Brown’s list of companies who were ordered to post a $100,000 bond or face prosecution. He also placed all loan mod companies who haven’t registered with him on a list. Green Credit Solutions was on the list. Green Credit Solutions has not closed their company and are still very much in business under the name of Guardian Credit Solutions.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE If you value your home and your family’s wellbeing, DO NOT do business with Intellichoice. They are a bunch of scam artists and will promise you the world and fail to deliver anything. They “worked” (I put this in quotes because I doubt they ever even looked at my file) on my case for months before I had to take matters in my own hands and get a modification myself. Please look into all options before hiring a modification company. It can be done yourself. Remember, these are sales people. The same sales people that got you into that bad loan are now trying to make a quick buck any way they can. Take advantage of free resources. Don’t give any company making false promises the last of your savings!

Intellichoice helped my mother to save her home. They diligently negotiated with the bank to obtain a monthly mortgage payment she could afford. She was so grateful she was in tears. I helped her to work with them and they are very professional and compassionate. The loan modification process is tedious and complicated, I would recommend hiring this company to represent anyone seeking a loan modification.

Intellichoice helped me as well. After failing miserably to get my own modification I contacted Intellichoice who helped me negotiate a great offer from my bank. They saved me from losing my home and I am very grateful. I know there are a lot of scams out there but I don’t believe Intellichoice to be one of them.

Intellichoice helped my mother and my aunt savign their home..my mom had been dealing with her bank for over 5 month and nothign was been resolved till Intelloice came into the picture and got my mother a loan modification and a friend of mine referred us to Intellichoice my mother is grateful for this…
My aunt also had the same problem and Intellichoice also save her house. I have nothing but good things to say about Intellichoice and their employees.

SCAMMERS!!! After taking our $3K, we were the one that had to call them for updates.. and all they had to say was “it’s still under process.” I should’ve notice that in the beginning.
DO NOT GIVE IN to these SCAMMERS… You are horrible people!!

I just gave Intellichoice more than 8K for debt consolidattion under Mantis financial. Got civil lawsuits form the creditors and they still do nothing, now I consulted an attorney, something they reccommended me not to do! and he said to me I’ve been scammed and filea lawsuit against them with the attorney general. Anyway, don’t go with those guys, they will do anything to keep you paying and then will just promise only BS.

Not much comfort knowing we were not the only ones taken by their wonderful customer service!!! They took us for 6700.00 so far and after 8 months…foreclosure status…and threats of wage garnishment…have not done a thing!!! They are all liars and cheats….Mantis lied and said they were not affilliated with Intellichoice These guys need to be put away!!!
Now we are stuck trying to fix all the damage they caused. If anyone knows a good Calif attny that wants to deal with this pathetic excuse for a Company–please advise!!!

Yep – we gave Intellichoice $3K in June 2009 and all we got for our money was a weekly phone call telling us our file was still open “pending lender review”. Eventually, I reached the guy that originally sold me on their services and he told me the government had “shut them down” and they transferred all their open files to another company: Progressive something. The guy at Progressive listened to my story and told me he couldn’t do anything to help me with a loan mod because I hadn’t missed a payment yet.

The contract we signed with Intellichoice said our money would be refunded if we didn’t receive an acceptable loan mod. Progressive tells me they are not responsible for upholding that contract. I don’t know much about the legal system, but I’m wondering if a class action lawsuit would be a good next step for all of us? This infuriates me! Here we are, 7 months later, no closer to a solution, being told we have to do it ourselves afterall.

I made a $1,000.00 deposit for a loan modification to Steven Macias at Intellichoice almost a year ago. I cannot get in contact with him for a refund, since I achieved my modification on my own. No one will answer my requests at Intellichoice. I really don’t know if there is anything else I can do. So far, it looks like I lost my money. I am a senior citizen, living alone and trying to save my home of 33 years.

My neighbor is retired and elderly with no internet access. He got ripped off for $500. His contact was “Marco” in the San Diego office. Phone number has been disconnected. Impossible for anyone to answer the Phoenix number. He asked me to look in to this for him. Found company had an “F” rating with the BBB with over 100 complaints. Wished we could have helped sooner.
