All of these comments are from people that should of been smarter and should of known better. I feel bad for you in some way but it was foolish to give a broker, not a bank, like Chase, when you can do a loan mod for no fee with your own lender. The only reason why people that got their frickin money like 3k was because they were lazy and didn’t want to do it themselves. I have been in the mortgage for 8 yrs and I was offered to go into loan mod’s for a “broker” but when i heard how much they collect from the clients i backed out cuz i could smell trouble, and i also am a homeowner who had to go thru a loan mod doing the right way….thru my own lender. It’s because it takes time and energy and getting on the phone at least twice a week to do this yourself. But because people don’t have time they’d rather pay people like Intellichoice 3k or more, and now look what happens. Even your own lender tells you to stay away from broker loan mods. Lesson learned!!!!!!!!!!!

We too have been “ripped off” by Intellichoice. It has been 7 mos. since we were assured we would receive a check for $1000 (the amound due us for Intellichoice being unable to deliver the loan modification as promised.) We signed a 100% satisfaction guarantee and they refuse to return any of our calls, emails or faxes at this point.
I urge you to NOT deal with this company….

My neighbor is retired and elderly with no internet access. He got ripped off for $500. His contact was “Marco” in the San Diego office. Phone number has been disconnected. Impossible for anyone to answer the Phoenix number. He asked me to look in to this for him. Found company had an “F” rating with the BBB with over 100 complaints. Wished we could have helped sooner.

We wer rip off and would to get more on the Intellichoice I went to Chase and thay never herd of them or did work on our account we feel we were rippied off for 3000.00 and all most lost our home thanks Intellichoice we worked with our liender and got or refince plan work out throught Chase

I made a $1,000.00 deposit for a loan modification to Steven Macias at Intellichoice almost a year ago. I cannot get in contact with him for a refund, since I achieved my modification on my own. No one will answer my requests at Intellichoice. I really don’t know if there is anything else I can do. So far, it looks like I lost my money. I am a senior citizen, living alone and trying to save my home of 33 years.

Yep – we gave Intellichoice $3K in June 2009 and all we got for our money was a weekly phone call telling us our file was still open “pending lender review”. Eventually, I reached the guy that originally sold me on their services and he told me the government had “shut them down” and they transferred all their open files to another company: Progressive something. The guy at Progressive listened to my story and told me he couldn’t do anything to help me with a loan mod because I hadn’t missed a payment yet.

The contract we signed with Intellichoice said our money would be refunded if we didn’t receive an acceptable loan mod. Progressive tells me they are not responsible for upholding that contract. I don’t know much about the legal system, but I’m wondering if a class action lawsuit would be a good next step for all of us? This infuriates me! Here we are, 7 months later, no closer to a solution, being told we have to do it ourselves afterall.

Not much comfort knowing we were not the only ones taken by their wonderful customer service!!! They took us for 6700.00 so far and after 8 months…foreclosure status…and threats of wage garnishment…have not done a thing!!! They are all liars and cheats….Mantis lied and said they were not affilliated with Intellichoice These guys need to be put away!!!
Now we are stuck trying to fix all the damage they caused. If anyone knows a good Calif attny that wants to deal with this pathetic excuse for a Company–please advise!!!

i to got ripped off also i send them my 3000 last march that was 9 months ago never did they call me when i made acall to them it was always WE ARE WORKING ON IT this week DEC 1 to DEC 5 i have called 1000 times and the phone is always busy !!! i guess there all dead in that office ! ?????????
