HOUSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Litton Loan Servicing is pleased to announce it has signed the agreement with the U.S. Department of the Treasury to participate in the Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). Since March, Litton has offered more than 38,000 modifications to struggling homeowners using terms in accordance with the broad principles of HAMP, and has built infrastructure to fully implement the program.

Litton has been a pioneer in the mortgage servicing industry by providing innovative foreclosure avoidance solutions to homeowners for more than 20 years. The company has been, and continues to be, a proponent of thoughtful and practical loan modifications that provide affordability to homeowners.

“Our company has used modifications as the primary method of helping homeowners avoid foreclosure. In the 12 months prior to the announcement of the Home Affordable Modification program, we modified more than 44,000 loans, representing about 10% of our loan portfolio. As the details of the federal program emerged, we continued to modify loans, and by adopting this program, we will continue to make every effort to keep homeowners in their homes,” said Larry B. Litton, Jr., Litton’s president and CEO.

Litton customers who are having difficulty making their mortgage payments are encouraged to call (800) 247-9727 or visit www.littonloan.com to determine if they are eligible for a modification or other loan workout solution. I am waiting for Litton to help me. They are useless and 38,000 is nothing compared to the 370,000 plus notes they hold. I think Larry Litton should share a cell with Bernie Madoff. They have unscrupulous and illegal practices and my husband and I and our 95 year old relative with alzheimer’s who lives with us are taking this to the top – D.C. Have hired an attorney as well. Litton are nothing more than mortgage nazis who have no intention of helping anyone. The have ruined thousands of lives and are not doing anything to help anyone in spite of what the above article indicates. Whoever wrote that article must be related to Litton. I have read hundreds of complaints about this so called company over the past week. I am certain I have not even touched the number of those lives Litton has destroyed. I did read ONE comment from a customer who did get satisfaction after going through their state AG and the US AG. I have put out a challenge for an attorney who wants some exposure to file ANOTHER class action suit against the Litton Nazis.

I have tried twice for a loan modification, and was denied both times. I have spent a year rebuilding my credit so I can get out from under this evil empire. The above article is just a fluff piece designed to cover up their nazi tendencies.

I agree completely agree with the above comments. I have been desperately trying to keep my house for over a year. I wanted to pay my mortgage but as I got behind they piled more and more on top of my mortgage and increased my interest rate by 3 percent. I applied for a modification in May then they told me I was missing some stuff so I resent in July and just received a letter today denying me without explanation. The more conversations I have with them and take notes, the more I believe they are a very dishonest business. Every time I talk to them the information is completely different and they don’t ever explain all the charges. I don’t know where to go from here.

We qualified for “Making Home Affordable” modification 4/2009, signed our trial paperwork 5/2009 and completed our trial period June, July, & August 2009.

Our document finalizing the terms of 4.56% interest with a monthly payment of $1701.82 begins September 1st 2009 has never been received. Donna Lane confirmed we should receive the final document to finalize the modification any day since August 4th, 2009. It was explained we need to wait, as the department is backed up, but our new modification terms will still begin in September…

We have requested assistance since August to receive the final document and have been run in circles faxing the same information time and time again with no documents ever being received. We have been in financial stress since January 2009 and can not wait any longer for Litton Loan to full-fill it’s obligation! They are nothing more than crooks!!!

I was amazed the funny thing is i used to work from a company that would have litton loans calls routed to our MTG co. stationed in PA BIG CROOKS we need to fight back ……………

We despirately need to do something. I have experienced every episode that had been explained above and I am still waiting for help. Is there someone out there in the law practice who has read these complaints and is willing to take this case on for us. We need help to take down these big companies who feel that they cannot be touched because of their high powered lawyers. Also, does anyone know who the servicer is for Litton? That is something else tghat they are hidding. When you get turned down, they say that the servicer or lender denied you but cannot give out that information!

Litton is a joke it is really sad what has happened. They recieved bail out money now they could care aless about bad debt they have written off. We have hired an attorney since last november 2008 to help with our situation and just learned today that we have to be out of our home by Nov 9th. When they had broken the law and sold the poperty while being under litigation before set date 10 days before. My lawyer says that we will have to move but we are still sueing if it takes a year to get the home back we want justice and since they broke the law I dont care, I am not walking away with my head down. Everything that everyone is saying is so true.I’ve been going through the same thing with Litton. It took me 4 months just for them to “recieve” my paper work for a loan modification. They wanted more money and my payment was going to be more. Now how was that going to help!Something needs to be done to stop what they are doing but who is going to step up and put a stop to this?

Well, there IS a method to the madness at Litton Loan Servicing.
My mortgage is 1287/month NOT INCLUDING TAXES AND INSURANCE, that is my biggest problem, I had caught the mortgage up, always at a cost of something else falling behind, of course, especially since losing income, as well as my elderly mother needing to move, because she could no longer manage all the stairs here. She had helped with expenses, prior to moving and when I took the loan out, the plan was for her to be living here, though she was not on the mortgage.
Meanwhile I now find Litton has come up with a “contractual amount” which INCLUDES taxes and insurance. Fine, now 1287 has gone UP TO over 1600/month and it turns out that for EVERY MONTH THEY HOLD UP FINALIZING MY MODIFICATION, if indeed they ever DO finalize it, since the trial period is OVER, ahem, they apparently intend to take that differential since JULY and ADD IT ON TO WHAT I OWE THEM! Even though I have made the insurance payments every month I’ve been on their trial modification. Since otherwise, hello, my insurance would be canceled. Meanwhile, I had the SAME experience as everyone here, what do these people at Litton DO WITH DOCUMENTATIONS? Shred them? Here they can’t keep track of when they have a paper on file, but we are to trust that they are dutifully keeping a careful account of the MONEY we pay them, yuh.
The government has NOT put good consumer protections into these loan modification rules, they have protected the investors, NOT the homeowners. And it is patently deceptive to have a government website that broadly indicates people are qualified for help, when there are all sorts of HIDDEN TESTS that have to be met in order to ACTUALLY qualify and many will never even be given the COURTESY of a call back from the department at Litton Loans that DOES these modifications.
When you phone, they relate they are missing documents they need. No matter how often you explain to them that certain things ARE NO APPLICABLE in your situation, they will clear it up one day and then deliberately remuddy the water the next, so that you go through the SAME nonsense, endlessly. “Yes, SORRY, but we don’t have ‘child support award letters’ where I live” Yes SORRY but the court order just didn’t cover that” and so forth. They put the homeowner into a vulnerable position with foreclosure looming over them, and no end in sight. Washington needs to stop looking out for banks and start looking out for American citizens who are trying against all odds to SAVE THEIR HOMES. Protect US for a change, watch how the economy improves when people are left with enough money to purchase the stuff they NEED! Like, er a NEW RAILING FOR THEIR PORCH!

I also tried to get a modification from Litton but was denied and given no reason. I bought my home with my sister three years ago and she ran out on me dumping the full mortgage on me. She also wanted me to leave and forclose but I refused. I tried to get help from Litton but they rather have me run like my sister did. They aren’t helping at all. I recieved a letter from them 11/16/09 saying they are looking over my documents for a modification. I was later told by an employee at Litton when I called them that they denied me the same day they wrote that letter. They are just denying modifications without even going through them.

I have been reading all the comments above……… I was laying in my room and wanted to look up a 3 month trial modifications I found this site talking about Littion. I cant beleive how this company is getting away with all this. The goverment is not helping We all need to file a petition and file a complaint to the better business bureau. This mcompany cant keep getting away with this!
I am waiting for my trial Package that I was told I would receive by the end of this month I have been sending paper work to them since Feb this year and we are now in November. Everytime I call I hear a different story from every rep. I sent in all my paper work that was asked of then just a few weeks ago There was this one girl that provided me with alot of information and said thats all that they were waiting for was a current bank smt. I fax it right away. I call Littion every week… To ck on the status and was told everything like all the other comments above.. I need help I can even put food on the table thats how hard it is. I pay my morgage the last day of the month 30th and make a payment over the phone and when I ask if they can waive the late fee i am told to borrow the money from someone to cover the phone payment!!!!! This is how this company treats us… We need to do something PLZ Someone help!!!!

15 jay November 27, 2009 at 9:58 pm

this company is bad news. All of the things i am hearing makes me not want to send in my paperwork for the trial modification. if they are just going to take the house anyway why bother. funny thing is they told me they werent going to do a trial modification for me and they would just take the house. now the trial mod price is higher than my mortgage originally was.

16 othella November 28, 2009 at 3:39 pm

I have just been browsing through the comments left by all of the people who havee loans at Litton and realize that I am in their same boat. I started a modifocation with them back in March of this year and still no results. Like the others I have had to fax the same papers twenty times and I call the them an each time I have to fax more papers. They denied my modification . I was in a repayment plan made the payments on time. They appplied my monies some were else and told me they denied it because I did not keep up my agreemnt. I spoke with them a few days ago and they want me to refax the same papers again so that they can reopen my modification. They have jacked up my mortgage. I am paying more now than what I was in the beginning, before I started this whole modification ordeal. They have sent me a notice that they intend to acceralate. Litton has their name on the list of mortgage companies that is willing to work with organazations like Home Save USA, the Hope program and others. Why? I feel that if they are so willing to participate in such programs why are they giving their customers the run around and not really helping. they accepted government monies for what? to all of the others good luck. i don’t want to lose my home. i don’t know what else to do but to do what they ask as far as faxing papers and paying this high mortage. I pray that there will soon be some light at the end of this tunnel.

Guys I know your pain. Do I have a story for you. A novel if you would. This company has put my husband and I through hell, forgive the language. We some how some way need to stop this company enough is enough. The only thing is we can not afford a lawyer and legal aid iowa has our info but will not return my calls. I have been to the BBB and Attorney General Iowa but the AG has done nothing as far as I know, but my novel will begin now, my sincere apologies. Also Litton Loan Servicing says they are not on the government funding for mortgage help but it is funny how I type Litton loan Servicing into the search engine for the government web site to see if they participate, and guess what they do, so do not let them tell you differently. Litton tells me not to believe everything I read on the Internet, heck I believe it because I am living it. My husband and I faxed the forms more then once the 4506T so many times I could scream. They put us on a trial for $310.04 a month, which we paid on time if not early for 5 months. We were getting harrasing phone calls saying we were behind, heck Popular mortgage did not even bother telling us they sold my husbands account to Litton and he has had this house 22 years. My husband was layed off after 21 years of service with Maytag factory and his unemployment ran out January of this year. Then one day I by accident put a $50 check in the Litton envelope which was for my local doctor as I am dealing with cancer issues with no medical insurance. Anyway Litton cashes the check they did reimburse the $50 but then sent a nasty letter saying if we did not send that $50 back to them they were going to put it against my husbands credit. It did not bother my husband but it did me. During all this they send someone to take pictures of the house claming it was for our modification, how stupid do they think I am anyway? After all the hard work we get a letter last week stating that we were being kicked off the modification because we failed to make our first payment, that was a letter to the BBB because I filed a complaint. We made all payments and have bank statements to prove it. Even Litton told me loss lidigation stated yes you did send all payments including the first one. He goes to talk to his boss about putting us back where we were and guess what we have to start the process all over again. They have not put one dime of the $1550.20 we have sent to them on our past due amount, which we were not until they started their games. We then in Litton Loan Servicing Letter Head have a letter stating they were not going to refund my husband his $667 escrow because we are behind. I spoke to a lady there that said we do not have that in escrow that we are in the hole escrow wise and I even read their letter to her. She let it slip that the house is going for sherriffs sale January 20,2010. I asked her why were we not notified of this and then she says oh, do not worry your not in forclosure yet. We then get told by someone else at Litton to send $698 by December 9 to stop the proceedings. If they were to put the $1550.20 where it belongs we would not be in this mess, then on one blog I read some lady saying she works for litton yes they are stealing home, to have some cheese with that Wine and get over it. Guys that sentence alone ticked me off. With me having the only income if they take our home I lose my job, and I am a college student at Colorado tech, so we have more to loose then just our home. Where do I turn? What do we do? If anyone has an attorney that could help us save our home, or another class action law suit, I think Litton Loan Servicing needs to be shut down before they can hurt more families. My husband even stated Litton has high priced lawyers, and they are getting away with so much. We can not refinance due to our credit. Anyway if anyone reading this has a class action going on we live in Iowa and we want in. Lets help each other save our homes from these people. Out of the $310.o4 Litton stated that part of it is for insurance for escrow, and since we pay it to the place in person we are paying it twice a month not once. We also discovered as I printed the pages that November 6 this year 2009 the figures were changing. They told me to make sure they put the monies on the account over due balance on the loan by November 30 and guess what they are not doing it telling me it takes time. I have all the proof I need they are trying to take our home and we need help.

Litton sucks big balls, they are using the Obama funds for their benefit ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!! They do not care about homeowners, they are the biggest frauds EVER!!!

19 TJ December 3, 2009 at 3:35 pm

Been going through the process since August. As of November 12th we were told that everything was in the system and they were wating for our last Modification payment to make a decision (Dec 1). We paid November 30th. Called today and they said we were dropped from the program due to “lack of response”. They can’t tell me what I didn’t respond to, because it’s not true. Then we called back 2 hours later and they said the reason was for “lack of documentation”. They can’t tell me what I’m missing BUT said I have to start the process all over again cause they can’t find paperwork that was already confirmed previousy. My modification file just fell off the planet all of a sudden even though I was calling to check in every 2 weeks!! If this isn’t shady business, I don’t know what is!! Were going to try to fight this but from the comments I just read above, it seems like we’re just cats chasing a toy – while they make thousand’s on our modification payments!

20 shelly December 4, 2009 at 3:49 am

I am having the same problem. I was in a forbarance agreement with popular mort. and made all my pymts on time, bank statements that show this. Last year Linton takes loan, I am told I am no longer eligible for the forbrance I missed pymts, also approved for modification threw popular, also have this paperwork, but linton will not honor this. We ended up filing chpt 13 to save our home we have owned for 16yrs. Started modification 8/26/09. Letter from Linton dated 9/30/09 that is was under review, as of today 12/4/2009 I have heard nothing. I called everyweek in Novemeber and was referred back to the promise solutions number where I leave messages and NEVER get a return call. When I finally got ahold of someone at Linton they said I have not yet been denied but my income was not approved. FUNNY, thing is my husband is now WORKING, we was not before, and yet my income is an issue. Lets see 2 WORKING people, a home owner of 16 yrs, and yet I cant get modified????? I will not stop presuing this, if I have to go sit at my local representives office till someone wakes up and helps me. WHO R YOU MODIFYING, and HOW THE HELL DO THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS. Very pissed off hard working Family. I would love to get help, don’t think linton will be the one to do it.

I have just experiananced the same thing, been in trial modification since october have done everything asked of me made payments on time, sent all documnets, sent even more documents, some i had to send 3 and 4 times because they say they could not read or did not get, spoke to someone on monday the 30th of november, they were asking for a fourth payment even though I did the 3 as specified, they say because i was still missing docs, so i told them i would send them in again right away, i call today the 4th and they tell me I was denied because of A lack of response, and that all of sudden I am 3 months behind as opposed to just 1 month when we started, and the trial payments did not count as payments the money was appied equal to 1 payment because it did not equal my regualar payment so when the second payment was made it paid the rest of the first and all extra overages of money was applied to penalties. now I am on the verge of forclosure, they tell me i can reapply but they have ordered an appraisal of my property and a bpo. this sounds like a setup. all this after they jacked my interest rate 2 years ago from 6 to 10 percent this is when i had 780 credit and was not ever late. I accepeted a loan mod from them a year and 1/2 ago and they jacked me with some program when i started to get in trouble, droped my interest to 8% but it was a real fishy program, could not speak to anyone, had to send 2 payments by cashiers checks, still wondering how that money was applied becaus eshould have been clean slate, but they told me i still owed 2k in admin fees, loan docs show no such fees, raised my princlple balance, but had no choice at the time, things were falling apart and needed to save my home. they are a preditory company if there ever was one. I am beginning to wonder if i messed up wheni told them that i had remodeled and added an addition the property a few months ago that maybe they just want to try and take it. this company is bad news and i will be fighting them all the way. this is a joke. i WILL REPOST MORE INFO AS IT COMES STAY TUNED AND BEWARE OF LITTON LOAN.

WELL here is my Litton UPDATE folks and thanks to everyone posting here about their EXPERIENCES with this mickey mouse operation that NONE of us OPTED to do business with in the FIRST place.

I get the coveted FINAL MODIFICATION AGREEMENT fedex’d here. I sign, notarize, copy EVERYTHING (including ENVELOPE IT IS GOING BACK TO THEIR LAWYERS IN)

Good thing since they then called asking “Did YOU send that back?”
YEP, AND YOUR LAWYER GOT IT BACK TOO AND I CAN SEE THAT FROM THE FEDEX TRACKING ; )

So then they say oh yes, we did get it back.
Well, I have NOT gotten the fn thing BACK with their john hancock on it YET. Nor has it been recorded.

The agreement stated there was an EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLAR ESCROW SHORTAGE, but that was okay, since they spread it out over five years and it was included in the new monthly, thankfully LOWER than the TRIAL (and I DO MEAN TRIAL MODIFICATION, had been. So I go to LITTON WEBSITE TODAY, AND…

NEGATIVE SIX THOUSAND DOLLARS IN ESCROW, and would I like that by mouth or up my….

23 tina December 9, 2009 at 11:20 pm

Oh yes, I know. Don’t expect your trial mod to EVER become permanent. PLEASE email me, as I know some people who would like to put together a class action suit. We need 15 people. Anyone willing? It will be on contingency, so no costs!!!
I have .. and you should to. complained to the FTC, ATTY GEN in Houston and Austin, Department of Housing and Urban Dvpt, US Department on the Treasury, my senators, my congressmen, my atty general… If you’re one person .. you look crazy… if it’s a mass of people… they look crazy.. please fight back

24 Kathy Risinger December 20, 2009 at 7:36 pm

Well guys I am fighting back and fighting angry. If you guys have not done so if you have your account on line I strongly urge each and everyone of you to print and keep all documents. I have the BBB involved Texas, as well as the attorney general Iowa Senator Harkins office etc. I discovered yesterday our info on line vanished such as showing payments cleared escrow and as of my check yesterday records are gone, I guess Litton figured I am an moron, I have everything copied on line statements from their site, bank statements of payments clearing. I have asked our attorney general here in Iowa to help us fight back. I was mad when I read Litton accepted 1.1 billion to help home owners, and my first thoughts were o really. I found out they have only helped 0.2% at this one web site and if you type in their name in the goverment web site their company name shows loud and clear. They might have helped some families keep their homes not sure on that though but I can tell you they are trying to take ours, so if Iowa can count as in the law suit count us in Tina. What I want to know is what is Litton doing with that 1.1 billion. If anyone wants that web site info please email me and I will forward my findings to you. Our home is scheduled for Sherriffs sales 1-20-2010 and I have in writing from them after they kicked us off the trial for doing no wrong claiming they never got our first payment when it cleared my account and Litton even said it themselves our payment came on time, they did put us back on the trial with an open case but with all the funds they have gotten from the president we should be on it permanent. We have to have legal aid as we can not afford an attorney. I am still worried we will lose our home due to not our fault, Litton Loan servicing doesnt seem to care who they hurt

25 Cindy in Orange December 28, 2009 at 5:46 pm

Hi Kathy,

I’ve been following your outrageous experience with Litton Loan Servicing, or should we say DISservicing?

Please keep places posted. You should DEFINITELY be filing complaints, IN WRITING, everywhere you can, the BBB, the AG’s Office, write to EVERY representative in congress you have. File with your state’s AG’s office. It is outrageous.
I think the Making Home Affordable cite, now has 800 numbers to call and the Treasury IS sending in people to GO OVER all this crap. I’d put it in WRITING to Litton AGAIN,
WE WANT A HAMP MODIFICATION AND WE ARE ELIGIBLE FOR ONE AND WHY DID YOU NOT ALREADY PROVIDE US WITH A PERMANENT MODIFICATION?
Send CC’s to EVERYONE.
Call the Litton EXECUTIVE RESOLUTION TEAM, not the people with NO POWER who will tell you all sorts of misinformation.
God blesses those who hunger and thirst for justice, for they will be satisfied. Matthew 6:5

LITTON IS SCAM THEY WILL NEVER HELP AND THEY WILL NEVER DO ANYTHING TO HELP US .I AM NOT GOING TO SAY MY STORY BECAUSE ITS THE SAME AS YOURS .

27 mary January 5, 2010 at 10:41 pm

LITTON IS A SCAM! THEY OFFER A TRIAL MODIFICATION IN THE MAIL. YOU MAKE YOUR FIRST TRIAL PAYMENT AND A COUPLE DAYS LATER YOU ARE DENIED FOR THE MODIFICATION . NOW YOU ARE IN FORECLOSURE BECAUSE YOU DID NOT SEND THE FULL PAYMENT ON YOUR ORIGINAL LOAN AGREEMENT AND THE DEMAND LETTER HAS NOW EXPIRED! NOW YOU ARE FORCED TO GET ON A REPAYMENT PLAN (ALMOST DOUBLE THE ORIGINAL PAYMENT THAT YOU COULDN’T AFFORD) IF YOU WANT TO STAY IN YOUR HOME. THESE TRIAL MODS ARE ALL A SCAM FOR LITTON TO GET YOU IN FORECLOSURE AND SELL YOUR HOME!!

28 Ken B January 6, 2010 at 8:21 am

WE TOO ARE LIVING IN THE LITTON LIES NIGHTMARE!! THEY WILL NOT WORK WITH US, SPEND LITTLE TIME TALKING TO US, AND BASICALLY SAID, PAY UP OR WE WILL FORECLOSE. AND ALWAYS RUDE! PEOPLE ARE LOSING THEIR LIFE SAVINGS AND SECURITY! LITTON SHOWS NO CONCERN OR COMPASSION! YES, WE WANT IN ON THE CLASS ACTION. AND PLEASE EMAIL ME THE ADDRESS OF WHO TO CONTACT FOR HELP. WE ARE SET FOR FORECLOSURE IN FEB!! PLEASE ANY INFO IS APPRECIATED! MY EMAIL IS PVTMALL@YAHOO.COM
THANK YOU, GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS US ALL

29 Michael January 6, 2010 at 11:08 am

Our trial modification, like many others, did not go through. The response, after submitting all the requested documents, and making two of the three requested payments was: “The investors do not do loan modifications”. I have made many attempts to get to the bottom of this mess, to no avail. My house will be auctioned this month and I feel trapped. If anyone is putting together a class suit, please let me know. Something needs to be done!

30 Bern January 7, 2010 at 2:08 pm

I loan was sold to litton as well. i didn;t get a bill for December 2009 payment to find out that my mortgage payment doubled without any warnings. I was told that they are not obligated to send me any warning. Anyway, I paid partial for december and January and submitted my paperworks for loan mod.
Shall I get a lawyer now? Does anybody know anybody know a lawyer that will really help? Thanks you in advance for your help!

I prefer bankruptcy to allowing Litton Loan to win. I would love to know what the Investor requirements are and who the investor is. We have a required mediation in Connecticut. I am going to HUD to talk to them first. When I called Litton after 2 trial modifications, they were vague and rude. We need a class action, but I have a feeling that there are NO TEETH IN MAKING HOME AFFORDABLE. I believe that the only reason for a class action would be if we could find something illegal in the way they presented the paperwork originally. My opinion is we are better off bankrupt with our home and try to hang on until the housing market changes. I believe our money will be worth very little and our houses will be very valuable soon. It is the only explanation for some of these greedy banks to want us in foreclosure.

I am a single divorced parent whose ex xcelled son’s insurance for 100 dollars xtra a month without telling us. My income has changed, I had lost child support, and we had medical bills from when I had no insurance. Now we have medical bills and insurance bills that are about 500 dollars more a month. I was told that my original mortgage was to be switched to a reverse mortgage. I do not have enough equity now.
My income will improve. I have just earned an MS degree and I have a job. But Litton said they will foreclose if I cannot pay difference in temporary modification money, fees etc and regular mortgage amount. Since I was in a te mporary modification for 6 months, I now owe 23,000 dollars. I have 45 days to come up with it.

There are too many stories on here that sounded just like mine. I fought with Litton for 2 years, (2007-2009)while I was in my home, to get a loan modification, but was forclosed on in Jan. 2009. Litton Loan DID NOT want to work with me on a fair mortgage payment for both parties involved, instead they choose to take it away. I ,too, would like to be a part of ANY class action law suit against Litton Loan and I will gladly give out any information needed for this. Thank you. And God Bless!!

I have read all the complaints and they are all the same. My wife and I are currently in a foreclosure lawsuit against Litton. Guys, Please email me at moneyman011@hotmail.com (Tina) because I am interested in suing them. They have screwed us so many time that I refuse to give them any money. Dont fall for their trial modification. You will make the 3 payments and they will turn you down. Our deal was $6200 for 3 months with 12k down. Then they said they might consider a modification. We have to go to court on friday because they want to findout how the modification is going. Is that a joke? Litton nor their lawyers don’t know how to return phone calls. This has been going on for 2 years now and Litton has made us fall more and more in the hole. I guess I have to except the fact, that Litton will get our home. If anyone knows how we can fight them, please call me at 631-828-1087

Like all those before me, LITTON HAS DECIDED THAT WE MAKE TOO MUCH MONEY TO QUALIFY. This is a joke. My husband is 73 and I am 66, we cannot quit working/retire. My husband works PT and I got laid off the Monday after Christmas. Yes, we do get SS but try living on that these days. Our yearly income w/SS, small pension and the PT job totals $28,000 (before taxes and miscellaneous deductions). Electricity rates have gone up to $225.00 per month (we don’t even have the furnace on automatic and use space heaters throughout the house). When we purchased our condo my husband was employed as a systems analyst and when he reached a certain age he was forced to retire. Between the 2 of us we made a good living. Our monthly payment is $700 per month @ 6.5%. This does not include insurance. I tried, by e-mail, to let O’Bama know what was going on with Litton and in his chain of personnel nothing was done. Seems to be par for the course. We sent 27 pages of required information with our life’s history and Litton came back with more requests; we did comply. The only information that was not given was our blood types and DNA. Please include us if a class action suite is in the making. Did not contact any state officials yet but after reading this blog will start phone calls again. Also didn’t realize that LITTON IS PART OF GOLDMAN SAKS; I WONDER WHAT MR. LARRY B. LITTON, JR’S TAKE WAS IN THE BONUS DEPARTMENT. (I’M SURE IT WAS MORE THAN $28,000).

We to are in the same boat with these Pricks!!!the biggest scam is the Home owners policy they added on. We have everything documented. I am looking at what ever positive I can gather and loosing the house after 10 years is like we were just renting because if we sell we will break even, and since $1,808.000 of which $1,700 is interest, I will save over $600k in interest over the next 30 years. Chapter 13 is an option but I have always payed my bills no matter how bad things were, we just wanted a lower interest rate down from 7.8 but I guess they would rather kick you on to the street rather than help you!! leave it to Litton to turn the American dream into the American Nightmare

There is only ONE way to fight Litton successfully – SPEAK THEIR LANGUAGE!

First, I was proactive and had a plan in place just in case. When they refused to help me and were instead hostile and combative, I returned the favor.

First, I served them with a QWR letter demanding every scrap of paper from my loan’s inception to the current. I served both Litton and their investor US Bank. Not only could they NOT produce all the paperwork and a valid note and proof of ownership, I found the paperwork littered with changed numbers and forgeries of my signature among other things, events that apparently happened AFTER signing, so now I know they have NO legal claim to a lien on my property. US Bank violated the law by not responding to the QWR letter.

Second, I made copies of the paperwork and sent it to my state attorney general, state finance department, the FTC, my elected representatives, and am about to file RESPA and TILA complaints against them with HUD.

Third, I got an attorney to advocate for me, and as much as we have on them now, Litton either makes things right or they get sued.

Take the fight to them! Go for it! Even if you have to go through legal aid, make their lives a living hell!

I tried the cordial, civil and diplomatic route, but the only responded with threats and attempts at intimidation. Now that they are on the run, let’s see how they like it.

And I am not done yet! When I think of all the people whose lives they have so callously and needlessly destroyed………..I won’t stop until those people see justice done, one way or another.

WHO IS WITH ME?????? DECLARE WAR ON LITTON LOAN SERVICING NOW!!!

This is a perfect example of crooked gov. giving tax money to crooked companies so they can screw over working people!

My case is simple : I paid off my loan ahead of time by 4 years! Now they say that I still owe late fees and escrow, but they can not, will not, or just won’t show me my payoff amount according to them, or a copy of my loan history, or even escrow history!
I have been requesting info from them for 4 and 1/2 years and my loan has been paid off for 1 year! When they got my last payment which would have made my principle zero they did not apply it but rather put it and other over payments into a bs
account and continued harrassing by phone and reporting negative entries to my credit! Even threatening!
Believe that i can not pay them off because they will not even let me! THEY ARE CROOKS HOW CAN I SEND THEM MONEY IF THEY WON’T APPLY IT! How do I know they can produce my deed anyway!
I could write for hours about their crooked ways , but they or the gov. could give a shit! I think I should spend my time finding out who the ones in charge are and where they live just in case things go bad I will see to it that those who could have corrected the problems, should have! They can run but not hide so switching jobs or companies will still leave them the ones who I hold responsible! ITS NOT LITTON LOAN ITS EVERYONE WHO WORKS FOR THE COMPANY! ITS ALSO THOSE WHO WORK FOR THE MOTHER COMPANY! It takes a no good piece of shit to allow this crap to go on and not do anything about it when they had the chance to make it right!
