Loan modification industry insider comments on Green Credit

loan modification scamMy clients are calling me like crazy, we as agents have done everything that we could, even at this very moment, while Green credit solutions is gone, and operating under different name. In my opinion that’s unethical, and more close to a scam. – Green Credit Ethnic Agent

I have worked very closely with Green Credit Center inside their office for several months as an agent, representing them to an ethnic community. While this posts has a lot of opinions and smoke in mirrors, my observation and experience is coming from dealing with them directly within their office space.

They boast 80-90% loans are modified, but out of 30-40 clients that were submitted through our dept., we only saw few of them got results.

While they were doing loan modification business actively (they are not doing LM actively with the new company they set up, Guardian Credit services, http://www.getmycreditgrade.com) most of our clients weren’t happy with the level of services they have received. I don’t trust that they will take care of the clients that they have now, since they took all the upfront fees, and focusing with other business services.

I have seen each of their negotiators are working on hundreds of files, buried with files, some of them just got promoted from data-entry positions. I think what happened was that a greed got on the way, taking more files than what they can handle, while they know they can’t handle. We know that the banks are the problems, but they became the troubled banks themselves, and I think in my opinion, worse than the bank, because they don’t make the decision for the home owners, creating gaps after gaps to talk to the lender.

I had clients called me and complained that their lender called and told the clients that nobody is responding from Green Credit, and the time is running out.

They promised a lot of things to the agents and to the clients, but I have seen very few carried out. Their marketing materials that were used to train the agents are falsified (that all the back end services are done by attorney network, but I haven’t seen no attorney working on any of the files) , and the upfront fee they charged to all clients should go into an escrow account, but DRE found out that’s not the case. They dropped their website address, and contact information are not available to the public.

My clients are calling me like crazy, we as agents have done everything that we could, even at this very moment, while Green credit solutions is gone, and operating under different name.

In my opinion that’s unethical, and more close to a scam.

We as former agents, gets no supports, many troubles to communicate with their staffs, while the home-owners are troubled and confused. Their main complaint is that there is nobody responding from Green Credit Solutions.

I don’t trust them any more, and I am trying to find a way to get the refunds for my clients from this company. I have tried to find a solution for my clients in the past three months with CEO of Green Credit, but nothing was delivered what he promised he would do. For the sake of my clients, I have no other option but to fight them.

I have filed complaints to BBB and FTC. I am in the process to talking to district attorney, and DRE, and an attorney who specializes in business litigation, real estate.

Thank you for the great post. It is a difficult situation that many homeowners face. For this reason it is advised to have an attorney or consultant by your side who can renegotiate the payment terms with your lender. They have higher success rate than homeowners alone.

Oh I can give quite a few names at Green Credit as well. My experience with them was HORRIBLE. My number one complaint is lack of professionalism from these people.
A few months ago, a family member of ours was interviewed by MSN in which they were asked to speak on there experience with Green Credit. At that time, there were talks about them scanning people. I would sure love to have that phone number and speak to them.

We have been waiting for Green Credit/Guardian Credit since Aug. 2009 for our loan modification and just heard about the Bill 94. What can we do to get our money back? How do we contact them?
Any information you can supply would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Carol Vejmola

We have had the same experience with Green Credit/Guardian. They not only took our money upfront they never even sent in our paperwork and most likely never even worked on our mod. Guardian is refusing to give us our money back. A Cassandra Emond has stated all the usual excuses of SB94 and claims they have filed bankruptcy and therefore cannot issue refunds. Her email is cassandrae@pwfinc.com. 949-885-0133.

OK, You are all right! Nicole Johnson was a liar the whole time I dealt with her and Keri Perez was the biggest scam artist. I am now out $6000, I am being sued by my creditors and my house is being auctioned off because they took my money and did nothing for me. I called both of Keri’s numbers and she had them disconnected but we can all try her email perez.keri@yahoo.com. We all need to call the district attorney.

Cassandra Emond was also our account person at the many times our account was passed over. Cassandra doesnt care about anyone. You know what she told us … Just pray….. instead of saying … let me see what we can do..

I have infact emailed the district attorney and have not heard back.

If you look online, You will find that Green Credit was taken to court in Aug 2009. Which is why they changed or sold to Guardian. If I find out anything- I will post it.

Green Credit Solutions took my money and negotiated a deal. Without finding out the terms of current lender. I have recieved documentation that i have a balloon note addendum. that stats that after 30 years I have to pay the prinicple in FULL $544,000 with interest and late fee’s.

I’m sick, there must be something that can be done about this.
