<description>1st-Trust.Net has been projecting the demise of the so called &quot;free and low cost&quot; modification service for some time now. Although I am grateful for Moe&#039;s free book, I am one of the early subscribers that differ with his view. There is no such thing as free in this life, what you get for free may end up costing you ten of thousands of dollars over the life of your mortgage. I have invested the last 20 years in developing negotiation skills and awareness around some of the most complex contracts and still do not know everything. That is why you build a team!

The loan modification process is neither simple or easy, that does not mean you cannot accomplish this task yourself. Many have and also many are defaulting.

Those that have decided to be in the loan modification business for the long term have made a substantial commitment to the mortgage industry in time and resources.

The initial intake meeting could take upwards of three hours, scanning the clients documents depending on your system could take as little as a few minutes or even hours to get all of the files straight. Understanding the true numbers is at a minimum two to three hours if you had all of the information available. This could be spread out over days or weeks depending on the organization of the borrower. Certain files must be kept up to date in order for the lender or servicer to consider the modification and finalize a decision.

The investment in systems and people is substantial to manage this operation and lastly the analysis and modification proposal could truly take a few weeks to assemble depending on each situation. Each modification is unique as a persons finger print. I do not believe you will receive this best modification possible without a true analysis of your situation. This is not a free venture for anyone involved and done incorrectly could end up costing 10 pounds of flesh.

My guidance is to seek professional advise, know who you are doing business with and understand how they will deliver on their commitment to you and your family.

1st-Trust.Net, the pre-eminent Loan Modification Corporation offers a no modification no cost offer. We have designed our business solely from the ground up to focus on keeping borrowers in their homes while reducing mortgage payments to sustainable levels. We receive no incentives from lenders, servicers or government subsidy&#039;s.

We are a fee for service firm that only charges when the modification is a success. The bottom-line is we understand the situation that borrowers are in and do not want to be another creditor making collection calls. 1st-Trust.Net will also engage in a payment plan with borrowers in dire need of assistance.

In short, our objective is to help you modify your mortgage to make additional dollars available to pay for your modification and other debts borrowers may have.

Thank you for your consideration.
