In my attempts to revive the American Dream for over two years a top my online soap box, I have to say that I have failed miserably. What I have discovered is that the ongoing nightmare of the American homeowner will continue on and that there are A LOT of rotten people in our society. Predators who will steal you blind and stab you in the back while they smile to your face.
These are crazy economic times we live in and I am sure many of you will agree. The green monster (greed) has a hold of many people in our society. It’s bad out there.
My goal with this blog is inform my fellow Americans about the mortgage news, help, options and scams that are out there on Main Street. For over two years I have endured what was once a one man fight to soon see the government and media join the crusade to help struggling homeowners.
In trying to do this public service, I have placed my family and myself in possible jeopardy. I have received threats in the past but it has increased as of late and I am a bit disturbed. Not scared (I am truly not scared of anything) but weirded out that men are going from white collar crime to life in prison type crimes. I think many have lost their minds?
I appreciate the comments that some of you have left on my blog and some have went just a bit too far with threats of bodily injury. The anger is understandable, but I cant have my blog used as a vehicle for potential violence. This post is not the only one like it on my blog. There are several going on and what is happening with me is I am being threatened by people in this field and at these companies. They are calling my home, cell phone and emailing me etc.
This is no joke.
I don’t have full time security. I am not ABC with a big budget and secure facilities. I am not the government with guns, a badge and a license to use them. I am a dude with a lap top that knows how to blog and get targeted information to the people. That is all.
From now on I will post just a link to a story or government press release and turn off the comments. If you are a homeowner and have a question about a company, email me off this blog and I will try and help. But I will not make it public on my blogs or forums.
The threats of violence are becoming a common occurrence on this blog and on my phone. I can’t let this continue.
Homeowners will have to take the information and do as they wish because most likely, the money is long gone. Employees will have to go to the labor board if they have issues of not getting paid and again, no money = no recovery.
When people are desperate, they do desperate things. Be careful out there. These are sad times folks. The scams and violence will only get worse before it gets better.

Dear Moe,
I regret what has and is happening to you and your loved ones! There are those of us here that have staked their entire livelihood on doing the right thing and will continue to do so until we no longer have that ability. You have been a beacon of wisdom in these times of great uncertainty.
When my family came to this country we were very poor and have created a solid foundation we could build on. We have shed blood protecting honor and freedom for what we call the American Dream. I write to you on the eve that my sister is packing her bags to ship out to Afghanistan as a Capitan in the U.S. Army Military Intelligence.
While she fights to keep our homeland safe, I’ll continue to wage the battle for the American Homeowner here in our backyard.
I grew up in the inner city of one of the most violent areas and have learned to protect myself and continue to do so physically, legally and in every way possible within the framework of the law.
This angers me that you are experiencing such an imposition. My father has not been with us for some time and mother spends much of her retirement outside of the country. My siblings love me but I am without wife or child, therefore I spend much of my time working, helping and protecting those with limited ability to do so; much like you. I/we understand where you are coming from to protect you and yours.
I shall not be silent, my resolve is unwavering and I remain committed to slugging this out with those without merit, values and morals. Remember those?
I wish you and your family warmth, comfort, safety and love. We shall pray for you. Thank you for being an example, thank you for providing the vehicle, some of us will continue to take the road less travelled.
I am restraining myself from contributing in a negative way and to those that have crossed the line, “bring it on”!

Thank you for the effort you put forth to assist those of us who are in trouble and don’t have the knowledge or resources to fight this alone. Our fight has been less painful to endure because of your sacrifices. I’m sorry it has come to this. Mr. Sharaf, I appreciate your sister’s dedication and service in the US Army, and pray for her safety while she serves. Thanks again to both of you. May better days be ahead for all of us.
There’s so much misinformation out there that people don’t really know what is and is not. It’s refreshing to see people that know what they’re talking about. You have an Informed commentary seems to be a rare commodity these days.
