The Floreas’ modified mortgage payment was $584 per month. In late June 2009, the Bank of America sent a statement to the Floreas indicating their monthly mortgage payment is $924 — the initial mortgage payment amount, Legal Aid Society lawyers wrote.
The Bank of America correspondence to the Floreas also indicated they had a past due balance of $11,083 on their account.
According to the Floreas’ lawyers, Mrs. Florea made several calls to Bank of America and each person said the Floreas’ loan modification was still being processed. In late July, Mrs. Florea was told by phone that the Bank of America would initiate foreclosure proceedings if she and her husband did not pay the past due balance and resume monthly payments of $924.

I have been waiting since Oct of 2007 for Country Wide to modify my loan and was told that I had insufficient income and was denied the modification. Since the Attorney General of the State of Illinois filed suit and won judgement relaxed underwriting and accepting terms on bad loans. I am one of those people and now I am having trouble with Bank of America giving me a reasonable rate to make this right. What does a person need to do to get justice for the fraud that was committed. If I committed fraud, I woud be in jail by now.
WHAT’S UP WITH THAT???
I am also having problems with Bank of America with my loan modification, my attorney also found fraud in my loan appilication and yet they are not willing to work with my attorney for a loan modification.
