Homeowner: NACA is really not the organization I thought they were

NACA loan modificationNACA Member & Struggling Homeowner: “NACA will not return my calls, respond to my e-mails and when I go by the office they will not see me. The employees are so unprofessional. They actual sit there and talk to the people like they are kids.”

This is another unsolicited complaint about a non-profit called the Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America or NACA. For years I have promoted this non-profit has the best source for homeowners to get free help with their mortgages.

Fast forward to today and my opinion of NACA has changed.

What was once the best one stop foreclosure prevention shop for thousands of struggling homeowners has now turned into a foreclosure shop of horrors  for many. It appears that NACA is now suffering from the same issues that mortgage servicers are having. Overloaded systems, not returning phone calls, uncaring and forgetful employees now seen to be the norm. It seems that there M.O. of taking in as many homeowners as possible is now causing these same homeowners and this once awesome organization some serious problems.

Is this come one, come all attitude damaging NACA’s reputation?

I would say unequivocally, YES! This method of foreclosure prevention operandi simply does not work.

You can only help so many homeowners at a time. Stopping foreclosures is much like operating an emergency room or intensive care unit. You get to the point where you reach full capacity and can only care for so many people before people start dying on your watch.

Accepting more patents is like signing these patients death certificates and pulling the plug on life support. In NACA’s case, accepting more homeweoners may be like signing thousands of homeowners  foreclosure death certificates and killing any hope for a loan modification for just as many.

NACA Member & Homeowner, Michael Smith:

NACA MEMBERS HERE THIS!!! I have been a NACA member for 5 years. I have always paid my mortgage and member fees ($50 monthly) on time which is included in my mortgage through BOA. The fee is supposed to pays the mortgage of members who lose their jobs or who cannot afford to pay their mortgage.

Well, I was laid off of my job 2 months ago. I went to my local NACA office for assistance. Here I am 2 months later with no assistance and I am facing foreclosure. I submitted everything NACA ask for.

NACA will not return my calls, respond to my e-mails and when I go by the office they will not see me. The employees are so unprofessional. They actual sit there and talk to the people like they are kids.

NACA is really not the organization I thought they were!

  1. We are the only real company in America, I have either an “Holding Trust” for money to be kept in if you are in need of an Loan Modification because we will not access the money, without first providing the Loan Modification. Noval idea, you save the money, in an “Holding Trust” account, you control it, while we get you an Loan Modification. When we get you the acceptable loan mod then you release the funds to us. You are responsible for all $3.13 per day interest for the money set aside for your personal “Holding Trust” account.
Then we have another service, which will get you a full Principle Reduction, immediately. We do not charge you for this service, we are pay on the “Back End”, that is unique to our company. We are the only company in the USA, which does not charge, you get immediately Principle Reduction and you will become the Manager of the Asset Protection Trust, which is the result of this product’s work.
We also conduct the “Real Full Forensic Audits”, we have not found an Loan Document yet without Mortgage Origination Errors, RESPA, TILA, GFE and Promissory Note Errors, or many of them. Columbia,SC NACA office has a big problem. They seem to string people on forever, then demand all new paperwork of everything they already had because it is now ‘over 6 months old’..thanks to their stringing it along. My tenant has lost her ability to get the tax rebate because of these people’s inability to run a business office properly. They have literally lied to her for months claiming everything was on the go, only to discover the people handling her loan no longer worked there- so NOBODY was handling her loan. She has repeatedly given them all the paperwork they asked for, even made a booklet of copies for them, and they keep telling her that they don’t have it- EVEN WHEN SHE TOOK IT TO THEM IN PERSON AND HANDED IT TO THE LOCAL OFFICE HEAD.
Someting is SERIOUSLY WRONG with the Columbia,SC office of NACA!!!!!!!

How does NACA handle rent to own situations? If it has been agreed upon by my landlord do donate part of my rent payment toward the down payment of the house, if i buy through naca, does this amount go toward buying down my interest rate? Please contact me at god1rita2wwe3@gmail.com with an answer to my question. Thank you.
