The Treasury Department says approximately one million Bank of America customers are eligible for a loan modification.
It sounds like a lot, but of that large number, just 160,000 are in a trial modification program, a paltry 16 percent.
And of those, just 98 homeowners with Bank of America loans were able to get their temporary loan modification converted to permanent status in November under HAMP.
In addition to that small sum, Bank of America has completed a total of 230,000 loan modifications across non-HAMP programs, according to Dan Frahm, a Bank of America communications executive.

We CALIFORNIA Bank of America customers must offer gratitude to the ATTORNEY GENERALS in the states of New York, Florida, Illinois and Ohio, if it wasn’t for their efforts against Bank of America/Countrywide homeowners would be worst off…
OUR OWN STATE ATTORNEY GENERAL JERRY BROWN “piggy backed” on the situation because he had no other choice because it gain nationwide attention!
He is still making no efforts to OVERSEE BANK OF AMERICA’S Settlement agreement even after recieving thousands of complaints…No wonder B of A is not afraid…They are thumbing thie noses up at hurt homeowner who even mention the agreement. They appear to have the ATTORNEY GENERAL in thie “pockets”. He must have plan on running for Governor one DAY SOON….Mark my words. Some of us might not still have our homes by then but we will still have our VOTES!
I want to rally all Bank of America homeowners who are getting the shaft or who have lost their homes to foreclosure to rally together and send a strong message to ATTORNEY GENERAL BROWN that if he has aspiration for the Governors Office he had better do something to STOP Bank of America’s deceptive and loan modification scam which is causing MORE Californian to lose their homes! Other states are holding B of A accountable but our own State Attorney General Jerry Brown appears to be doing NOTHING….It’s obvious that he doing NOTHING because California is only 2nd to Neveda for foreclosures!!!
B of A accounts for most of the homes foreclosed upon! What happened to the Loan Modification Settlement agreement MR. ATTORNEY GENERAL?
