The Nevada Foreclosure Mediation Program has some new members.
75 new mediators were sworn-in Friday by the Nevada Supreme Court, bringing the total number to 170.
The program is made up of attorneys, hearing officers, and judges who help homeowners who’re facing foreclosure reach a middle ground with their lenders.
So far, it has heard about 500 cases, another 1000 are scheduled.
