Wells Fargo employees met with homeowners at the Baltimore Convention Center on Monday.
The home preservation workshop is for those who have a mortgage with Wells Fargo or Wachovia. The goal is to help customers before it’s too late.
“It’s really designed to help customers based off their unique situations find options to avoid foreclosure and result in payment challenges they’re experiencing with their mortgage,” said Joe Ohayon, a Wells Fargo spokesman.
Homeowners who need assistance should bring a letter explaining their situation, a list of assets and expenses; and recent pay stubs, bank statements and tax returns or W-2s.
