Wild in the OC Streets: Chris Fox and Curt Melone Still Allowed to Scam More Victims?

Unfortunately for the people on Main Street, it looks like this dynamic OC loan modification duo (AKA Cockbrokers) will remain free to run cock wild on the streets of financial deception for just a little bit longer. Chris Fox and Curtis Melone were due in court yesterday at a civil hearing in regards to their unauthorized practice of law, but these two guys did not even have the common decency to show their faces in court.

Orange County Superior Court Judge Frederick Horn granted the December 21st petition by the California State Bar, which ceased the illegal loan modification, debt, credit and investment operations of Curtis Melone of Huntington Beach and Christoper Fox of Redondo Beach. What this means is the the Bar will permanently take over all former operations of Fox and Melone. They will no loner be able to operate under the various shell companies that they were previously using to scam unsuspecting victims. However, this does not bar the two men from opening more companies or from doing business under a new company name.

Edward Lear, a lawyer who represented the dynamic duo at the hearing told Mathew Padilla of the Orange Country Register (OC Reporter, Padilla attended the hearing):

“With respect to Green Credit Solutions (owned by Fox and Melone), attorneys were involved with the loan modification business and client monies flowed through attorney bank accounts. Mr. Melone and Mr. Fox have never engaged in the unauthorized practice of law. They have agreed with the Court – consistent with their past practice – not to engage in the unauthorized practice of law.”

Riza Sitton, a deputy trial counsel for the Bar, said that while the bar now controls the primary operations of Melone and Fox, the Bar lacks power to prohibit the duo from starting other “legitimate” businesses. The Bar pursued its case in civil court, and acted only on its power to stop companies from falsely claiming to be law firms or operating under supervision of lawyers, she said.

However, investigators for the Bar said if they find anything they suspect might be criminal activity they will share it with the appropriate agency.

I am not an investigator, lawyer or police officer, but based on the evidence, eyewitness testimony and hundreds of complaints that I have personally received, indicate to me that criminal activity disguised as legitimate help has been their core business philosophy from day one. The only reason I can think of that why these two crooks are not locked up is because the investigation is ongoing, there are many complex financial crimes and victims throughout the country are being interviewed.

If you browse my related posts links below, you will find over a hundred homeownercomplaints on these guys that claim that they were basically robbed for thousands of dollars each. Just on my blog, I have added up approximately $500,000 in money that homeowners claim was taken from them and nothing done. For many, it was the last of their savings and they were financially wiped out.

If this is not evidence criminal activity, then I do not know what is??!!

The Courts were using outdated information when refering to the home addresses of Chris Fox and Curt Melone.

Chris lives on Via Corsica in Monarch Bay (South Laguna), and Curt lives At Victoria Beach, which is just up the street in Laguna.

I think it’s called Victoria Road, but I’ll have to drive down there to confirm it.

My suggestion is to keep the pressure on these two and they might cough up some of the tens of thousands of dollars owed to many.

Chris Foax is at it again! Read below when he barely escaped the first criminal charges of UPL (Unlicensed Practice of Law). He is currently acting as a false representitive of Kramer and Kaslow which is a Law firm with one attorney. However Chris Fox is signing up affiliates similar to what he was doing at his company that got raided and shut down GreenCredit. He is signing up NON LAW FIRM groups to accept homeowners who are seeking legal help. He is back at it in his Unlicensed Practice of Law Crimes and selling his FRAUD Credit Repair to the same struggling Homeowners.

Here is a excerpt from his previous case:
