Pricey distressed properties are just a slice of the overall housing market, but a growing one, according to national reports and local real estate agents. They say the pain just took longer to penetrate that sector.
The latest bi-weekly analysis of the Orange County real estate market by Steve Thomas of Altera Real Estate shows 123 homes priced at $1 million and above in the “foreclosures and short sale” category of current listings.
