SAN DIEGO — A pair of San Diego brokers admitted Monday in Superior Court that they took part in a foreclosure-rescue scam and will relinquish their real estate licenses and serve three years’ probation.
Benjamin and Gloria Hebron pleaded guilty to five felony counts, including foreclosure consulting fraud and rent skimming.
The Hebrons’ business practices were exposed in March 2009. They were part of a foursome, including a former felon, charged in January with persuading 22 people to sign over 34 houses to fraudulent trusts.
