Homeowners with unaffordable mortgages are being encouraged to attend the free foreclosure prevention Save-A-Thon under way at McCormick Place around the clock until Monday evening. Attendees should bring:
* Mortgage statements
* Proof of insurance
* Property tax bill
* W2 forms
* Last 30 days of pay stubs
* Proof of any additional income, such as three months of bank statements showing regular deposits from that source
* For the self-employed, six months of profit-and-loss statements and/or six months of personal and company bank statements
