An update in our ongoing investigation into loan modifications and an error by Bank of America that left a Cape Coral woman homeless. After we ran that story a second woman came forward to say Bank of America made the same mistake with her.
Two days in a row we’ve asked Bank of America for an answer to our questions and two days in a row, Bank of America was late with their response.
On Monday we told you about Nicole DePuy. Bank of America approved DePuy for a trial loan modification. Nicole paid but her home was still sold at auction, even though the bank said it was safe. Now we’re able to report that Bank of America says: their lawyer is working to buy Nicole’s home back and at the very least give her some more time to stay in her home. We’ll keep you up-to-date on whether or not that really will happen.
i am having same problem with bank of america been dealing with them to modifiey my home loan 8 months even gave them a check for 1897 for there fee and now it has been canceled so sick of this company how do they get to lie to customers and take money from them and nothing happens something should be done.

My note is owned by Fannie Mae.I Called countrywide in May 09 Told Them about my situation also told them that fannie is the note holder on my home.4 weeks later received packet for Mod in the packet was told to make 3 trial pymts which i did and have proof to show 15 1/2 months later have been denied because they say i misssed
a trial payment.There is no justice for us and everybody that has been
lied to over and over should stand up to these GREEDY BASTARDS
FOR EVERYONE OUT TRYING TO GET A MODIFICATIONS OUT THERE DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME WITH BOFA BUNCH OF ASSHOLES !!!LOOK FOR OTHER OPTIONS BECAUSE YOU’LL END UP WASTING YOUR TIME AND RUINING YOUR CREDIT WHILE THEY SAY THEY WILL HELP YOU.TAKE IT FROM ME I WAS WAITING FOR 15 1/2 MONTHS MAKING THEIR TRIAL PAYMENTS ALSO DONT FORGET WHEN YOUR PAYING THE LOWER TRIAL PYMT THAT REMAINING MONEY AND LATE CHARGES WILL BE PILING UP IN THE BACK AND WHEN THEY FINALY DENIE YOU GUESS WHAT THEY WANT ALL THAT MONEY SO THAT YOU CAN GET YOUR LOAN IN GOOD STANDING ,YOUR PYMT GOES BACK TO WHAT IT WAS ORIGANALLY AND REMEMBER WHAT I SAID WHEN YOU END UP HERE .YOU WASTED YOUR TIME ,YOUR CREDIT IS HOSED
AND WHERE ARE YOU GOING TO GET THE MONEY THATS OWED TO STAY IN THE HOUSE?????BOFA HAS NO INTEREST IN HELPING ANYONE THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT. WILL TELL YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR AND THEY WILL LIE AND LIE SO THAT YOU’LL KEEP PAYING YOU’LL WILL BE EXPLAINING YOUR STORY TO THEM OVER AND OVER BECAUSE EVERY TIME YOU CALL AND BE PREPARED TO BE ON THE PHONE FOR 30-45 MINTUES YOU WILL TALK TO SOMEONE DIFFERENT.iT HAS BEEN A f%$^# nightmare with them BUT GOD WILL PREVAIL REMEMBER LOSING YOU HOME SUCKS BUT IT IS NOT THE END OF THE WORLD”TRUST IN THE LORD JESUS CHRIST ” AND HE WILL SEE YOU THROUGH.BOFA WILL BE BROUGHT JUSTICE EVENTUALLY.

We got a loan modification about a year ago . We were on the trail payment for about a year and three months ago Bank of America told us that our first payment was due on march 2011. That our trail payments cover our mortgage until march 2011. That we didn’t have to pay Nov, Dec,Jan. We have documents stating this..We call Bank America and they told us the same thing. My husband check our mortgage status and it shows that we are Now three months behind and they want the money for the last three months, after they told us and verified the documents we got in the mail were correct.My husband called Bank of America and asked them what is going on? they told him they have made a mistake on there side . I am so upset because we could lose our home. We don’t know what to do… I need some advice.:(
