Nicole DePuy and her daughter have 10 years of memories in their Cape Coral home.
Those are now put on hold as the family has just a week to move out.
It all started when DePuy signed up for a loan modification program through Bank of America.
“They said, ‘Yes, you do qualify for a modification. These are the new terms of your loan,’” DePuy said.
DePuy even received a letter by mail that said as long as she complied with the terms of the program, the bank would not start a foreclosure sale.
Somewhere in the mix though, she says Bank of America made a huge mistake.
