(Source: OC Register) – A foreclosure may not be in the cards after all for Orange County ‘Housewife’ Peggy Tanous.

Tanous and a bank she is suing have agreed to put off a deadline in the case that was set for June so they can have more time to try to resolve issues surrounding the mortgage payments on her Irvine home.

“Plaintiffs and defendants have been engaged in on-going settlement discussions,” say lawyers for Tanous and BAC Home Loans Servicing, a division of Bank of America, in a joint stipulation. “The parties believe that an extension is necessary to allow the parties to focus their efforts on reaching a settlement.”
