Attorney General Andrew Cuomo is preparing to file civil charges against Long Island’s largest loan modification company, AmeriMod and its owner, Salvatore Pane. While Cuomo Monday would not comment on AmeriMod, he said his overall investigation into the loan modification industry “has already uncovered many troubling practices.” From the NY Times
